I am a political scientist and an Assistant Professor of Governance, Management, and the Policy Process at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. My research focuses on politics, governance, and public administration. My current work includes studies of lobbying and political oversight of executive branch policymaking by congressional committees and by the president. I hold a Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.P.P. from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a B.A. in political science from Kalamazoo College. I have received research support from the National Science Foundation and Berkeley Empirical Legal Studies.
